The Real Meat Company is a proudly independent company set up in 1986 to offer what we sincerely believe to be the highest standards of welfare, purity and eating quality.

Richard Guy and Gilly Metherell, our founders, were visionaries and pioneers who more than two decades ago were responsible for challenging and providing the alternative to 'factory farming'. They still own and control the company and take a personal interest in seeing that we deliver the promises we make to our customers.

We deal with the livestock and food production concerns that the public do know about AND the ones they don't know about. We are the serious alternative. Not for people who SAY they are concerned about food quality and animal welfare but for the discerning customers who actually ARE concerned about these issues.
